We really want a carribean honeymoon. Our wedding date is June 25 and I have heard/read mixed reviews on taking a carribean vacation in June..any experience carribean travelers out there to shed some light on the situation.

by now your wedding would have gone, but a June wedding in Jamaica is usually the best time, more sun, lower rates, best air rates as well!. Hurricane season begins in June, but you do not have any threats until around mid-September/October and this is usually minimal. Since you are now married, I suggest you visist the island on your next honeymoon/wedding anniversary or just go and check it out! Check-out the Half Moon hotel it's very romantic.

I went to Jamaica last July and it was awesome. The weather was beautiful...high 70's low 80's and intense sun. It rained 1 day for approx 1/2 an hour. I think the summer months are great for travel to Jamaica. Have a great time!
