We want to get married in Costa Rica next November. Anyone know how rainny the pacific side is? Is it way better in March because we are willing to push it back...

Hi Nicole, When I was in Costa Rica during November - it rained for a very short time (on a few of my 12 days viewing the whole pacific coast) and then the sky cleared to a picture perfect day! When I plan a destination wedding for my clients - I always include contingency plans in the event of weather. Ciao, Sahra 877.343.6078

Hi,

I have lived here for 8 years on the Central Pacific Coast. I actually own a Vacation Rental and we cater to many weddings.

November, although, considered the Green Season and rates are lower it is the end of the rainy season and historically could be as almost as dry as December which is consdered the begining of the dry season.

Even when it rains it may rain a bit in the afternoon, after 2 or 3 pm but the mornings are glorious. Again only in the peak of the rainy season which may be a couple of week between September and October it may start raining at two and contue for hours and maybe even into the early morning.

I think, if global warming doesnt totally throw us off, you are pretty safe. Our Diamond Concierge Representative usually help our guest organize outside activities around the weather.

If you need any other assistance please let me know.

Our experience there, (and what everyone kept telling us), is that things that are planned are in the morning are almost always safe. It seems that the rains come in the late afternoon. Congratulations!
