Hi. Im getting married in at the RIU Caribe in Cancun December 13th. In June my fiance' took me to see Cancun and Playa. The Palace in Playacar was fabulous. We would've booked there, but we really loved the Caribe. Here is the link for the RIU Palace and the wedding planner we met there on site is Edith. Email is Weddings.playacar@riu.com She is fabulous. When you click on the trip advisor link..... then go to "candid travler photos" Hope this helps. Best~Marie

www.riu.com then go to weddings. The person who handles all pricing for RIU in Playa is Laura.

Hi,
I'm going down to Cancun on Sunday to look at a number of hotels and wedding venues. I have one that I am looking at in particular that is supposed to be just fantastic for large groups.

I am also in the Chicago area and if you would like to chat about your wedding, I would be happy to hear about it.

We specialize in Destination Wedding planning and since we are also travel agents, we take care of all the travel details also for you and your guests. We want the whole experience to be stress free for you!

If you are interested, take a look at our web site and give us a call.

Hi Ivido,

My first choice for a wedding location right now is the Moon Palace Golf and Spa resort. The resort is HUGE so shouldn't have any problem accomodating that many people. So far the wedding planners have been great to deal with and the packages include lots of choices. It's not cheap but doesn't seem outrageous either. Let me know if you come across anything else that looks good as we wouold really like to get married in the Riviera May as well.

I vacationed with 3 other couples at Moon Palace over New Year's. It was G.R.E.A.T. We were upgraded to a Golf Villa (#101) and were SO impressed with the room. The pool is awesome, they have an outdoor gazebo that faces the blue/turquoise watters and the grounds are amazingly kept. Also, the food is so great. The Asian place on the Sunrise side (newer side, more things on this side) was the best asian cuisine I've ever had.

Also, the staff here are always smiling, singing, and helping in any way possible. We loved the staff so much!

We are considering other Palace resorts because we loved Moon Palace so much but want to try a new location.

Good luck!
