My fiance and I are thinking about getting married at a Sandals resort in Jamaica. Has anyone ever done this and would you recommend this for us?

I have been to some Sandals resorts and am a travel agent that specializes in Honeymoon and Destination Weddings. I have done a ton at Sandals resorts and my honey and I are thinking of Sandals Whitehouse for ours (Dec07). If you would like some input please feel free to contact me. Michaela@wanttotravel.com

I have been to several Sandals...Negril, Montego Bay, the Grande at Ocho rios, Dunns River, Grande St Lucian, Beaches Turks and Caicos and Royal Bohemian. More recently I went to a Breezes in Runaway Bay, Jamaica and there was a great time had with a wedding party. I wish I had had my wedding at one of these resorts. Stress free and always breathtaking. However, some of the properties are nicer than others especially if its old or new. One major thing to think about is if you want a real quiet place or one that offers a little more fun and do you want family to be able to attend that might not be coupled? I've heard that the Whitehouse is amazing and so is Royal Plantation. In my opinion of where I've been, the Grand at Ocho Rios was gorgeous for a wedding and close to do the Dunn's River tour. No matter what you should be safe with a Sandals resort.
