Hi, my cousin is getting married next year, in Islamorada ,and she can't decide on what she and the wedding party should wear. She is not ure if she should wear a casual dress and have the wedding party wear white linen shirts and tan pants (groomsmen) and knee-lenght dresses for the bridesmaids. By the way the ceremony will take place right before sunset, on the beach. Is it possible for her to go black-tie affair on the beach and still wear the gown of her dream (kenneth pool ivory strapless ballgown with antique crystal beading and pleated accents at bustline and hip. Circular ballgown skirt with chapel train.) Is that possible?
Thanks.

Honestly, it's her wedding & she should wear whatever she wants!! However, she should keep in mind her comfort level. I would think that the "gown of her dreams" will be very heavy, making her hot & uncomfortable, not to mention pick up a ton of sand!! I was married on a penninsula in the USVI and I chose a "traditional" wedding dress, but cut off the train. It was still the "gown of my dreams" but yet practical for the location. I'm not sure of the temperature at your cousin's location, but she should just keep everyone's comfort (especially hers & her groom's) in mind!
