Anyone having a DW without family ?

Is anyone having their DW without family joining them? This is a second marriage for both of us so we wanted to have a stress free, more personal wedding. We're only having one other couple joining us in Jamaica this April. Some family even seem angry that we're going away to get married...anyone else?

My H2B and I are getting married on our own with only 2 friends attending, my parents live and work in Dubai and his father is in Singapore! We live in the UK and both sets of parents expected us to travel to them to have the wedding! No way. So we decided to please ourselves and hire a catamaran out of St Lucia. We are getting married without fam or friends on some islands in the South Pacific. It is not really eloping b/c we have been planning this for months, have a wedding planner, and everyone knows of our plans. It is the exotic and private wedding that we have always wanted and for us, this is perfect.
