St Lucia wedding HELP!

H2B and I have decided to marry on St Lucia. Many of our friends have had traditional Caribbean beach weddings but we would like to do somthing more original. Any ideas?

H2B has actually shown some interest ( he's one of those men who wont do anything until the last minute so him doing anything before November 2008 is nothing short of miraculous!) and booked us a catamaran out of St Lucia. It does look fab, http:www.cat-charters.com but he didnt think about what i would be able to wear! Any ideas girls? especially shoes!

I just got married in Saint Lucia on July 10.
It was WONDERFUL!
We used an incredible wedding planner: "Awesome Caribbean Weddings." They organised everything and we just had to make the final decisions. They made everything so much less stressfull than it should have been.
They are many places you can get married on the island but we chose a beach wedding, on Pidgeon Island. It is a private beach in a nature reserve in the Northwest part of Saint Lucia. It was a perfect location for a beach wedding. We saw some weddings on public beaches where you suddenly have 30 strangers in bathing suits witnessing your wedding and standing in the background of all the photos!

Just wondering if any of you stayed at/ got married at windjammer lnading in st. lucia. We are planning that next june and could use opinions, or advice about the resort.

Windjammer landing is a very nice resort. However, it is not for the physically challenged. Many of the rooms are difficult to get to.
